GTIA 2025 North American Spotlight Awards Announces Finalists Crystal Conkle and Hannah Allpress of The 20

The 20 is thrilled to announce that the Global Technology Industry Association (GTIA) has named Crystal Conkle(CMO) and Hannah Allpress (Sales Account Executive) as finalists in the 2025 North America Spotlight Awards.

GTIA North American Spotlight Awards celebrates the success of some of the most engaged members and organizations across the IT industry. The honorees are those who have made a meaningful impact in the IT sector, taking strides to further the channel for the benefit of the entire industry. Winners will be announced at the upcoming GTIA Communities & Councils Forum (CCF) in Chicago on March 11, where they will be honored at a reception and dinner.

Crystal Conkle has been named a finalist for the Advancing Women in Technology Leadership Award. This award honors technology leaders who actively advocate for women in technology, serving as role models in both their field and personal community. Conkle is a proven marketing leader who has spent nearly two decades driving growth and brand success in the IT industry. As Chief Marketing Officer at The 20, Conkle has been paramount in propelling both The 20 and its MSP member network forward. Crystal was previously a finalist for this award in 2019.

Hannah Allpress has been named a finalist for the Future Leader Award. This award recognizes emerging industry professionals who have demonstrated success, leadership, and innovation in their fields. As a Sales Account Executive at The 20, Allpress provides white-glove service to MSPs looking to scale their business, helping them navigate the complexities of the IT industry.

“The GTIA Spotlight Awards recognize the success of some of our most engaged volunteer members and are a great opportunity to thank them for all their contributions to GTIA and the IT channel over the last year,” said MJ Shoer, Chief Community Officer of GTIA. “Best of all, the winners are chosen by a selection committee of their member peers around the world. Congratulations to all our 2025 North America finalists. I look forward to celebrating with everyone in person at CCF,” Shoer added.

“We’re thrilled that two more individuals from our company are being recognized for their knock-out contributions to the IT field,” said Tim Conkle, CEO of The 20. “Crystal and Hannah are star examples of striving for more, and it’s thanks to dedication like theirs that we’ve grown so much over the past several years.”

A judging panel, including executive council members from GTIA communities in the UK and Ireland, DACH, ASEAN, Benelux, and ANZ regions, evaluated nominees based on their positive impact on the tech industry.

We set our members up for success by providing benefits that include trusted resources and networking opportunities. In addition, the association sets industry standards that enable companies to build sustainable, secure and profitable businesses in an ever-changing technology landscape. Internationally, GTIA represents tens of thousands of professionals from more than 2,000 MSPs, solution providers, vendors, distributors, and other companies serving the channel.

We were formerly known as the CompTIA Community (the membership arm of CompTIA).  The association was renamed as GTIA in 2025, but that’s not where our story begins. Our association has a long history of serving businesses in the IT channel and technology professionals.
